Compassionate Community

SWALLOW is a charity dedicated to helping those with learning disabilities live as independently as possible. Everything they do is driven by members requests, with the goal of teaching the real world skills to be successful in the world today.

The site is built entirely in Wix's Editor-X editor, allowing excellent responsivity on the site, using the entire browser window on all form-factors. No third party add-ons, which add cost to any site, were used in the development but Velo code (Wix's Javascript-based API) was used extensively to extend the functionality of the basic functions provided.

One of the key features of the redesign was to integrate their online store, where member created products are sold, as it had previously been hosted at a separate company. The Wix Stores app makes this kind of eCommerce very simple to deploy.

Feedback from trustees, members & their families has been outstanding and the marketing department are happy as they now have full control of their site.
